Did you know we have a choir called Joyful Noise?

Did you know we have a choir called Joyful Noise?

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.

Serve the Lord with jubilation;

Come before Him with rejoicing.

Know that the Lord Himself is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Psalm 100:2-3

The Joyful Noise choir aims to bring joy and hope to those in need during the Christmas season. An annual tradition, the choir allows clients, staff, and treatment participants to celebrate the holiday season with music and laughter. This year, they are singing Christmas carols to elderly residents at two senior homes, The Salvation Army Southview Terrace and Pinegrove Place, as well as performing at various Harbour Light Christmas events and at the108 E Hastings St. Shelters.

The purpose of the Joyful Noise choir is to bring joy and uplift the spirits of everyone involved, especially during the challenging Christmas season. It is our second year returning after COVID-19 made its impact and there is a need to continue this tradition, as it supports community, connection, and the celebration of togetherness during a time when it is needed the most. We are grateful for the support and dedication of everyone involved, especially during the challenging Christmas season.
