Urban Core is a network of Downtown Eastside (DTES) organizations, non-profits, businesses or individuals who deliver services that provide employment, education, housing or social opportunities. We are committed to supporting a continuum of economic strategies that provide a sustainable livelihood and improved incomes for DTES residents.
We are grateful to community health care providers like Vancouver Coastal Health and Vancouver Infectious Disease Centre, for improving access to health care by bringing immunizations and infectious disease testing to our facility.
We support the 12-step community by providing meeting space for four open meetings each week:
• Alcoholics Anonymous – Double Jeopardy meeting, Sundays, 8:00 p.m.
• Alcoholics Anonymous – Battle of Hastings meeting, Tuesdays, 8:00 p.m.
• Narcotics Anonymous – Return to Grace, Fridays, 7:30 p.m.
• Narcotics Anonymous – Eye of the Storm, Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m.
