For our clients, the answers to all of these questions can be found through our in-house training programs and Learning Centre! Our clients have a wealth of knowledge, skills, and abilities and a strong desire to return to the workforce, but they often face barriers to employment. Harbour Light offers Skills Training: volunteer work experience, culinary skills training, and leadership experience to support their career development. Clients can also earn certifications in skills such as Food Safe, WHMIS, Occupational First Aid level 1, and non-violent crisis intervention.

Sometimes, formal education has been traumatizing or simply inaccessible to our clients. Through our Learning Centre, we offer opportunities for individuals to learn to love learning again!
