About Vancouver Harbour Light
Who we are
For 70+ years, Harbour Light has been a place of miracles and new beginnings in the downtown eastside of Vancouver.
Our programs and services make up a continuum of care that includes community meals, 24-hour and overnight shelters, residential addiction treatment, a correctional halfway house, low-income housing, and much more.

We believe that holistic services play an important role in creating and supporting change. Harbour Light’s programs are designed to support each individual’s needs and goals within a compassionate, structured and evidence-based environment.
We support our clients’ long-term goals through adult basic education, volunteer opportunities, training, and job readiness programming.
Harbour Light's Mission
Harbour Light exists to restore hope and promote recovery in Vancouver’s downtown eastside.
